As an example, we have recently developed a three part Induction Programme for Barclays Premier Banking consisting of the following:
3 comprehensive active learning workbooks (August 2005)
- Module 1 – ‘Making it your business’ providing a structured approach to the first two weeks in the role. This gives direction on where to find out key company information, how to complete regulatory training, basic customer service skills and then a further 6 weeks training using a buddy / colleague for mentoring
- Module 2 – ‘Doing the right thing’ – Taking the Client Services Executive to the next stage to fully understand client needs and excel in client expectations
- Module 3 – ‘Being the best you can be’, helping them to continue to take responsibility for self development and progress within the organisation. This included Career planning, writing CV’s, how to apply for jobs with many other hints and tips for self development
In addition to Module 2 there is a two day face to face workshop with advanced Service and Sales techniques.
